ADVENTURE BEGINS AT YOUR LIBRARY!
Adventure Begins At Your Library
The Oxford Public Library’s summer reading program is, once again, working with the Oxford Elementary School. This is a great pairing to promote summer reading. We had a great turn out for our first program. The library went to the school on Monday, June 3 to kick off the summer reading program. We talked about the meaning behind “adventure”. All participants were given a Passport booklet and were asked to write their names and draw their self portrait on the first page. On the 2nd page they were asked to draw their favorite adventure. Monday, June 10, we will have a presentation from the Sedgwick County Zoo at 10:00 a.m. at the Oxford Elementary School. Everyone is welcome!
